Ever taken a bite out of your board? Perhaps a little love bite out of pure affection? Good, neither have us… that would have been weird, but who’s here to judge what you do when no one’s looking?
Well, there’s good news for those wanting a surf & turf on the menu. With Easter coming up, Giulia Laferla baked the hungry crew their own personalised Figolli, custom-designed to look like the surfer’s individual surfboard.
And they’re beautiful! Each one is meticulously hand-painted and styled to look as cool as the board itself. You can see Mariah Buhagiar’s manta ray, Bomba’s very own zig-zag pattern, Tim Portelli’s bright nose sticker… there’s even a Mark Richard’s special! The attention to detail is immense, and the level of love is off the charts!
It’s awesome, it’s cool… and let’s be honest, we love anything edible! As for the taste, what’s not to love? Almond, sugar and pastry… a lethal combo! It will be bittersweet eating it, but at least we’ve got the photos to remember them!
