Bomba recipe: Quinoa and Salmon Bowl

Try this beautiful salmon and quinoa bowl to keep healthy

Now this is the best of both worlds: yummy, easy to cook and healthy. Get stuck in!


  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 4 oz. baked or grilled salmon
  • 1 cup chopped kale or spinach
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, and bake or grill until cooked through.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked quinoa, kale or spinach, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and toss to combine.
  5. Top the quinoa and vegetable mixture with the baked or grilled salmon and sliced avocado.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

This recipe provides a balance of protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates, and is packed with vitamins and minerals to keep a surfer fueled and satisfied.
