Learn what to eat to keep fit while surfing.

As a surfer, you should aim to eat a well-balanced diet that includes:

  1. Lean proteins: such as fish, chicken, turkey, tofu, legumes, and eggs.
  2. Whole grains: such as quinoa, brown rice, oats, and whole-grain bread.
  3. Fruits and vegetables: choose a variety of colorful options to get a range of vitamins and minerals.
  4. Healthy fats: such as avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and fatty fish like salmon or sardines.
  5. Electrolytes: replenish your body with essential minerals by drinking coconut water, sports drinks, or adding electrolyte tablets to your water.

It’s also important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. You can also try to eat a light meal that’s easy to digest before surfing, such as a smoothie or banana, to provide some quick energy. After surfing, a nutritious meal or snack that includes a mix of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats can help your body recover and rebuild muscles.
